Identify Glider by Serial Number
Enter the glider number in the search box and confirm with the associated colors. You can find the glider number inside the sail on the nose patch, on bottom of the keel in front of the noseplate, or on the test fly placard. You can also search by model, customer, or color.

Use the search box immediately about the right side of the table to quickly filter the table. For example, try the following terms progressively “para” “lara” “gold” “hg” with a space between each.

There are some changes to dealer functions, as summarized below
Dealer Log In – You will no longer have an individual dealer log in to the website until we implement the ecommerce features.
If you do not know the glider prices for your specific dealer category, email mike@willswing.com and request them.
Glider Order Status – You will not have web site access to your glider order status (This function has had limited utility on our current site because of lack of timely site updates.)
Order Custom Hang Glider (Online Glider Order) – There is no online glider order form at present. (This function also had somewhat compromised utility because it was not up to date with current sail materials, prices, etc.) See the suggested glider order method below.

Recent Invoices – This feature has essentially been unavailable since we converted to our new accounting system 15 months ago.
New Functionality
Simpler, more logical menu / site architecture – There are five menu options at the top of the page, each with a drop down list of additional options below it. This allows you to navigate very quickly and easily to any part of the site.
Faster, more powerful search – The new web site features an incredibly fast and powerful search capability. There is a global site search that will appear in the upper right region on each page, and also a search specific to the parts list that appears on the parts list page, above the top right corner of the list. This function will search across multiple data fields, so, for example, if you enter “basetube bag” in the parts list search box, the search returns:

…even though there is no item in the parts list that contains “basetube bag.” The search has picked up on “basetube” from the Part Description field and “bag” from the Category field.
Note that there is also a parts-by-model table. This listing has a “used in” column, so when you filter for a given glider model you will get a list of all the generic part numbers for fabricated parts that are used in that model. (Note that this function does not distinguish between standard and optional configurations, so you will need to determine the configuration you need if more than one option is listed).
Ordering Inventory Gliders
- Go to the Color Picker / Inventory Gliders sub menu item under Hang Gliders to find available inventory gliders.
- Choose the inventory glider you wish to order.
- Click the “Save” icon to the upper right – this will download onto your computer the serial number, pattern type and materials/colors selection as a .csv file which you can then copy into your email order.
- Send an email to mike@willswing.com with the information in the downloaded file, at a minimum the serial number of the glider you wish to order, along with any options (wheels, custom hang loop, etc.) you want to add, and shipping instructions. Use “Inventory Glider Order” in the subject line.
Ordering Custom Gliders
- Go to the Color Picker / Inventory Gliders sub menu item under Hang Gliders.
- Choose your model and complete the color picker to select materials and colors for the top and bottom surface.
- Click the “Save” icon to the upper right – this will download onto your computer the pattern type and materials/colors selection as a .csv file which you can then copy into your email order.
- Click the down arrow at the upper right in each view to display a list of the selections along with the color view
- Take screen shots of the top, and of the bottom surface displays, and attach them to an email.
- Use “Custom Glider Order” in the subject line. In the body of the email:
- State the glider model and size
- Review the list of available options on the glider page and list all options desired.
- Provide shipping instructions
- Provide a purchase order number or customer name to help us track your order.
- Email the order to mike@willswing.com
(Note: If you have an ipad or iphone with the IOS WW color picker ap, you can email the color and materials selection directly from the ap. You will still need to add the glider model and size, desired options, shipping instructions and purchase order / customer name.)
Ordering Parts and Accessories
Online Dealer Parts Ordering Now Available!
The 10% discount for online parts orders is no longer in effect but we will waive the $15 order processing fee, PROVIDED, you use the following procedure:
- Place the order by email to linda@willswing.com
- Use the subject line “Online Parts Order”
- DO NOT include any other communication in this email other than the order itself and any information necessary to process the order.
- Provide correct part numbers for all items ordered. In the table above, you can first use the filter to show a group of items that includes the item you wish to order. Then by positioning the cursor just prior to the first character of the part number and clicking and dragging across the part number and description and hitting Control-C, you can copy that information. If you then paste that as “text only” into the body of the email, for each item, you’ll have an easy to read list of the items you want to order. Don’t forget to provide the quantity being ordered, taking note of the units that apply to that item.
- List all items that begin with the prefixes 10 through 40 first on the order (these are the only items to which the discount applies).
- INCLUDE the glider model, size and serial number for all fabricated main frame parts, kingposts, fabricated wires and wire sets, hang loops and battens. (Important: when ordering battens, include the measured length, along the curve, of the tubing portion of the batten, and the batten diameter. See the article “Battens – How To Order Them” in the articles section of the web site for more information. )
These are the preferred methods for placing glider orders and parts orders. We will continue to do our best to accommodate orders placed using other procedures, but to the extent that you can follow these procedures it will allow our very limited administrative resources to provide you with faster, better, and more accurate service.
As the new website evolves, we expect it to provide vastly enhanced utility for both customers and dealers. We strongly suggest that you spend some time, as soon as possible, exploring the site. Most of your questions about how to use the site, how to find information, etc. can likely be answered by just spending some time looking around. We are, of course, ready to help with any questions you can’t answer for yourself.
